Holiday Cheer

AJS we have a challenge for you. Did you know that Sackville has a warming shelter? Gateway Community Church on Beaver Bank road offers an overnight drop-in that provides warm, safe accommodation throughout the winter months to people who are homeless or insecurely housed. As a school we are going to create cheer bags for those who access the shelter. Our goal is to gather useful items we can bag up and they can have on site to hand out to those who use the shelter. We are going to make this a friendly competition between homeroom classes. The class that brings in the most items will receive a prize (don’t worry, we’ll account for class size). Below is a list of suggested items we can use for our cheer bags. Many of the items can be purchased at the dollar store or you may have them at home. We hope you can help us support this local shelter and provide a little cheer. Please bring in your items by Tuesday, December, 17th.
